Data Management Graduate Intern

Join the Enterprise Data Management team at American Express as a Data Management Graduate Intern, where you'll support a dynamic central team and lead the way in customer-centric data excellence, ensuring that Amex has trustworthy data available when it's needed to empower innovation and exceptional experiences. Interns will support activities that deliver on our cross-functional data strategy, as well as reporting on the most significant data program progress and risk metrics as we grow the program. This internship is a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience with enterprise-level data management practices, while working alongside teams from across the company. How will you make an impact in this role? Learn and apply key principles of the Enterprise Data Management Operating Policy to real-world scenarios. Partner with business units and technology teams to support data management and governance efforts. Assist in developing presentations and materials to support the data management roadmap and engage our most important stakeholders, from Executive leadership to working teams. Help test and maintain internal controls that mitigate data risks. Participate in meetings with Business Unit Data Office and product teams to understand data use cases and support policy-aligned implementation.
