Business Overview: Global Servicing (GS) is responsible for the company's customer service, travel & lifestyle, credit & collections, and fraud operations teams that serve our consumer, banking, merchant, and commercial customers around the world. The business unit builds on Amex's 175-year legacy of service excellence, using new technologies and capabilities to drive innovation, and bringing a human touch to each customer interaction. MIS & Advanced Analytics provides the Servicing organization with the ability to Understand Performance (Data Management and Metric/Report creation) & Drive Performance (Performance and Analytics Insights). Job Responsibilities: The role provided will be a part of the Advanced Analytics job family within MIS & Advanced Analytics. The candidate will be working on Data Science/Machine Learning projects for the servicing part of the organization. Key Skills involved: Statistical modelling, Machine learning and Natural Language processing (NLP), Effective Communication, Problem Solving, SQL, Python, PySpark, BigQuery, BI tools such as Tableau, Generally, the role will entail the following responsibilities: Ensure the processes that are crafted and implemented have strong value proposition for the business and long-lasting usefulness. Build innovative solutions and solve complex business problems, using leading technologies like NLP/Machine Learning Innovate with a focus on developing newer and better approaches using machine learning, deep learning techniques
