About the role

American Excelsior Company is seeking a CNC Operator to join our Foam Fabrication team. Key Responsibilities

  • Uses tape measurer frequently & accurately down to 1/16 of an inch
  • Sets up and adjusts large foam blocks and program to be cut
  • Operates cutdown saw while CNC program is running
  • Continuously monitors machine to ensure proper operation
  • Responsible for individual quality standards at all times
  • Follows Company established policies and safety procedures
  • Follows directions/instructions from immediate supervisor and safely and effectively applies those instructions
  • Other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with industrial equipment
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to work with measurement devices (tape measure or ruler)
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to work on a manufacturing team
  • Solid computer skills
  • Print reading experience preferred
  • Basic data entry of production information
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting wage is $22.30 per hour
  • Additional $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift ($20.80 + $1.50 = $22.30/hr)
