Position Purpose: The Senior Associate in Certification Operations coordinates essential daily administrative and key processes that support department and organizational goals and objectives. The Certification Team administers 14 certification programs and 4 micro-credentials to support our ongoing mission to drive patient health and safety through comprehensive credentialing of acute and critical care nurses, ensuring their practice is consistent with standards of excellence. With over 140,000 certificants, the team manages renewals for over 25,000 certificants and exam applications for approximately 40,000 candidates per year. The Sr. Associate role provides certification operations support with event planning for volunteer committee meetings and department retreats, administers forms processing, travel arrangements, and expense reports for staff and volunteers, monitors department inboxes, reviews non-clinical content for revisions on various products, conducts industry research, and provides back-up support for audits, special events, and projects.

Skills Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong demonstrated computer expertise in desktop and applications for word processing, database management and spreadsheets, or other software required for the job. Working knowledge of the Internet, including subject research/investigation.
Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous responsibilities.
Self-motivated and inquisitive. Able to expand on assigned responsibilities without direction.
Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience with responsibilities matching a majority of those for this position.
Experience working on projects requiring interaction with multiple team members.
Previous customer interaction experience required.
Experience managing multiple priorities.

This role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and computer use, including prolonged periods at a workstation and use of standard office equipment. Occasional travel may be required. The role involves regular communication with internal and external stakeholders through in-person, phone, and virtual channels, as well as collaboration across teams, vendors, and partners. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, interpret and apply instructions, and solve routine to moderately complex problems independently. The work is performed in an office-based environment and includes handling confidential information requiring discretion and sound judgment. Ability to travel may be required (less than 10%). This position is eligible for remote work.
Total Compensation:
The target pay range for this role is $29.38/hr - $36.73/hr.
