• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
• Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 4 days a week, onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware DFT Verification intern/co-op to join our team and support the DFT testing and verification for AMD’s server programs. In this role you will participate in one or more of (but not limited to) the below assignments -

• Understand various design for test (DFT) features for server SOC going through design specifications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and/or designers to build and complete verification test plan, develop test cases, run simulations, and verify DFT features.
• We will assign tasks related to test regression flows written in C/C++ to support our project development and on simulation/process/verification improvement activities.
• You will review write tests/checkers/coverage monitors to improve the verification efficiency of the project for DFT features.
• Support debugging, fixing of tests / test bench infra to meet the verification goals for the projects.
• May be required to work on vector generation for post silicon testing.
  
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

• If you have experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -
• Programming languages and scripts such as C / C++ Perl /Shell
• Verilog and System Verilog
• Good understanding of the digital systems and computer organization, CPU/APU
• System level hardware design
• Development and debugging in Linux / Unix / Windows environments
• Fundamentals of logic design (FSM, gates, registers, flops, timing, HDL)
• An understanding of analog and digital transistor device behavior
• Candidates with understanding of fundamentals of verification and / or design for test will be given preference.
