About the role

We're seeking a skilled Amazon Connect Engineer to design, configure, and optimize cloud-based contact center solutions. You must have deep expertise in ACD and IVR design, hands-on experience with Amazon Connect (including Lambda, Lex, and third-party telephony integrations), and strong JavaScript/Python skills to build and maintain robust contact flows. You'll develop dynamic IVR menus, automated routing strategies, and chatbot enhancements to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable customer experiences. Requirements: 1. US timezone 2. Fluent in Spanish 3. Experience integrating Amazon Connect with CRMs such as Salesforce (and others like Zendesk, Dynamics) 4. Proficiency with AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, DynamoDB, Kinesis Streams, and CloudWatch for real-time metrics and logging 5. Strong understanding of telephony fundamentals (SIP, PSTN, phone number provisioning) and call recording/storage in S3 6. Familiarity with security and compliance controls (IAM roles/policies, VPC networking, PCI/HIPAA requirements) 7. Experience authoring infrastructure as code (CloudFormation or Terraform) and using AWS CLI/SDK 8. Ability to build and manage Contact Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, Hours of Operation, and Prompts 9. Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning capabilities in a production environment ***NO AGENCIES. FREELANCER ONLY***
