Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Required Documents

Please attach a recent (within last 6 months) certificate of typing proficiency (net 50 corrected words per minute) from a government agency, temporary employment agency, business college, adult school or a public school system. Amador County Unified does not accept typing tests taken on the Internet. Amador County Schools internal employees who are currently in a position with the same net 50 words per minute requirement will not be required to provide an updated certificate.

Requirements / Qualifications

Typing skills of a minimum of 50 words per minute (adjusted). Please provide certficate from an approved agency (see below) that is dated within the last 6 months.

Internal CSEA 239 applicants will receive first consideration.
