Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hoshiarpur for the role of Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager in Purchase (Strategic Sourcing) for Bought-Out/Proprietary components. The primary responsibilities of the role include overseeing purchasing processes, managing purchase orders, ensuring efficient procurement operations, collaborating with suppliers to secure quality and cost-effective components, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business objectives. The individual will also utilize analytical skills to assess vendor performance and improve cost efficiencies in line with company goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Purchase Orders
- Knowledge of Purchase Management and procurement best practices
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess data and optimize sourcing strategies
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
- Experience in strategic sourcing and vendor relationship management
- Understanding of manufacturing processes is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems is beneficial
