Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – 3D Design (R&D – RPP)
Location: Avinya, Bidadi, Bangalore
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / NTTF / CIPET (Mechanical / Plastics / Tool Design or relevant specialization)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced 3D models and detailed product designs using PTC Creo / Pro-E for molds and plastic packaging products.
- Lead the design and development of Rigid Plastic Packaging (RPP) products as per customer specifications and market trends.
- Strong understanding and application knowledge of RPP resins such as PP, PE, PET, and HDPE along with their design implications.
- Create innovative product concepts, ideation designs, and value-engineered solutions aligned with evolving packaging trends.
- Conduct mold feasibility studies considering manufacturability, tooling, molding limitations, and cost optimization.
- Incorporate tooling feedback, production trial learnings, and process improvements into design modifications.
- Collaborate closely with Tooling, Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams for successful product development and execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product design, tooling efficiency, and development processes.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and customer requirements throughout the design lifecycle.
- Mentor junior designers and support cross-functional technical discussions when required.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo / Pro-E.
- Good understanding of plastic injection molding and packaging manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in rigid plastic packaging product development.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
