Career Details:
We are seeking a passionate Employment Placement Specialist to join our team of professionals in the Columbus area. As the Employment Placement Specialist, you will assist clients with basic skills necessary to obtain and succeed in employment and use coaching techniques for ongoing job searching and interview skills. Perform duties in accordance with the mission and goals of the agency and corresponding with agency/governing body policies, procedures, and contracts. Employees will engage with clients on a consistent basis and utilize cognitive behavioral techniques in order to foster and promote healthy decision making and positive interpersonal skills.
Requirements
Education: Highschool Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: One year guidance, counseling, or job placement.
Preferred Education: Associate's degree or certification in the field of guidance, counseling, or career development
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
