Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Kollam metropolitan area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Alumni Relations Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing initiatives to foster engagement with the alumni community. Key responsibilities include maintaining communication with alumni, organizing events, managing alumni databases, coordinating volunteer opportunities, and collaborating with university departments to deliver alumni benefits. This role requires strategic planning and dedication to maintaining strong relationships with alumni.
Qualifications
- Experience in Alumni Relations and Alumni Affairs, with a strong ability to foster and sustain alumni engagement.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Event Planning and Volunteer Management to coordinate alumni events and activities successfully.
- Understanding of stakeholder management and relationship-building strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in academic or non-profit sectors is a plus.
