Engineering, or a related field
• Interest in project management, technology systems, and construction operations
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Desire to learn how safety, quality, and efficiency are achieved in a real-world project environment

Your role as a APM Technologies Intern
This internship provides exposure to the full project management lifecycle within Alterman’s Technologies
Division, which includes low-voltage systems, data, and infrastructure. Interns will shadow and assist
project managers, estimators, and field leaders to gain a foundational understanding of how projects are
planned, executed, and delivered safely, on time, and on budget.

Duties and responsibilities may include:
• Assist with project documentation (submittals, RFIs, material tracking, job cost entries)
• Support coordination and preplanning by reviewing drawings and schedules
• Attend project meetings to observe team communication and coordination
• Learn to identify critical path activities and their impact on workflow
• Observe procurement, vendor coordination, and productivity tracking
• Participate in data and fiber system installations and jobsite safety reviews
• Maintain records for project progress, costs, and quality
• Engage in learning sessions on BICSI standards and project documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Undergrad Junior status or above
• Remain calm and focused in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to work within the hours of Monday through Friday between 7:00am-5:00pm
• Hours will vary and can be worked around course schedules.
