Software Engineer (AS/400(iSeries))

Minimum 2-3 Years of Development and production support experience on core AS/400(iSeries) technologies: (RPG/400, CL/400, RPGLE, CLLE, OS400, DB2/400, SQLRPG) Excellent understanding of Database Technologies: DDS Physical and Logical files, SQL files, Stored Procedures and Complex SQLs In-depth knowledge on SQL/400, QUERY/400 and other AS/400 utilities Developing custom tools, utilities, and accelerators. Good knowledge on RPG, Upgrade / Migration from Fixed Format to Free Format Good understanding of Application and Database Performance Best Practices and Tuning Rich experience in creating Design and Estimation Document needed for a development change proposed by Business Users Interact with business stake holders to get clarity on queries and prepare Technical Specification Document. Design and develop applications to the given Specifications using the Technical Specification document. Strong communication skills and Problem-solving attitude Healthcare Domain, HL7 knowledge
