About the role

Altair's E-Motor Director is a unique tool for designing innovative electric machines faster. It enables machine designers to easily set-up multiphysics optimization studies, reducing the time needed to find a solution that fulfills all machine requirements. The goal of this internship is to grow the capabilities of the tool, by broadening the machine types that can be considered, developing new workflows and introducing new technologies like Artificial Intelligence in the process. We are looking for a talented, highly motivated candidate to join Altair as an application engineer intern in the Altair Electrification Solution team. As an intern you will contribute to develop the next generation of electric machine multiphysics optimization capabilities. You will collaborate with the developers to discuss the requirements, develop models, propose innovative methods, test and document the solutions. You will develop examples and presentations to demonstrate the added value of the newly developed workflows. You will work in an international team in a collaborative way to build best-in-class simulation and optimization technologies.
