Job Summary:
We are seeking an Application Engineer who will be a part local technical team. The candidate will provide consulting services, dedicated training, and support to customers and new prospects. The role involves exposure to a wide range of product development problems with main focus on structural analysis topics.
What You Will Do:
· Design and conduct Altair portfolio presentations and demonstrations, which include technical discussions in front of existing customers and new prospects along with Account Managers.
· Discuss potential sales opportunities and perform technical analysis and qualification of potential customer projects even on-site with the customer.
· Propose consulting Services to customers who need assistance to resolve challenging problems and build solutions of demanding complexity.
· Eventually execute consulting Services projects end-to-end, with close support from Senior Technical Specialists and Program Managers.
· Manage customer expectations to ensure maximum satisfaction with Altair's products and services.
· Liaise between customers and software development team to drive new feature requests into future product releases.
· Create digital content in the form of white papers, videos, example & demo models or workflows and publish using the Altair One platform.
What You Will Need:
Basics:
· Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive Engineering.
· Maximum of 2 years of hands-on C.A.E virtual simulation.
· Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management.
· Excellent presentation skills.
· Attitude for solving engineering problems.
· Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written) in Italian and English.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to switch seamlessly between different technical topics.
· This open position is for our Italian location (Turin), travelling attitude is required.
· Knowledge in CFD simulation and fluid dynamics theory is well appreciated.
