Role Description
This is a remote contract role for an Alt Text Specialist.
In this role, you will write clear and meaningful alt text for different types of images. These may include simple images, charts, graphs, diagrams, illustrations, and educational visuals.
We are looking for someone who can write carefully, follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and submit work on time.
Qualifications
- Strong written English is required
- A laptop or desktop is mandatory
- Good writing and proofreading skills
- Ability to write clear and accurate image descriptions
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to understand images and describe important visual information
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in alt text writing, content writing, publishing, or similar work is preferred, but not required
