We are looking for ALM Scripting Specialist
You’ll make a difference by
You will be part of the Engineering team for new and exciting software applications. Your area of responsibility includes-
- You will be a key part of our support team, developing and implementing Python and JavaScript to streamline user workflows and facilitate efficient data migrations within our ALM tool environment.
- As a technical expert, you'll continuously work on documenting and enhancing best practices for scripting, user support, and contribute to our knowledge database, ensuring smooth operations and data integrity.
- In our agile and DevOps-oriented culture, you'll collaborate with internationally distributed teams across Germany, India, and Hungary, providing essential scripting support.
- You'll share your practical experiences and scripting solutions within the team and the broader Mobility ALM community, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting efficient support strategies.
- You will train and support colleagues in their daily work with the ALM tool Polarion, focusing on how scripting can optimize their tasks and ensure quality standards according to EN 50716.
Desired Skills:
- Successfully completed technical studies in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or mechatronics (bachelor's/master's degree).
- Experience in the field of requirements engineering / system engineering.
- Excellent programming skills and extensive experience with Python and JavaScript for scripting, automation, and data manipulation; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Experience with the ALM tool Polarion, especially in a support capacity or developing custom scripts for user assistance and data handling, is a significant plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Your way of working is characterized by a high degree of solution orientation, strong analytical skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving, particularly in a support context.
- You enjoy working with colleagues from different departments and locations and are skilled at explaining technical solutions and scripting benefits to a diverse audience.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model available after initial probation period of 6 months
- Collaboration with global teams
- Travel may be required (10-20%) depending upon requirement.
- Able to accommodate international work schedules.
