Software Engineer IV

We are looking for highly skilled, adaptable engineer to join our team at Allvue. Come work with an agile team as we spread solid architectural design across our suite of products. As a Software Engineer IV at Allvue you will own a major technology or shared module across a product. You will share knowledge through peer mentoring, negotiation processes and metrics and influence the team to achieve its goals. In the constantly evolving industry of finance there are always new ideas, new APIs, and new segments to explore. You will contribute across all phases of the product lifecycle that culminates in on-time delivery of high-quality code. Responsibilities Design, write, test, and ship enterprise software Understand the current architecture, and adapt it as necessary Understand the business to the point you can abstract an explicit requirement into a future-proof solution Streamline for the ideal user experience Champion new ideas and technology to the team Find new ways to make us more efficient Work hard. Embrace DevOps approach and collaboration with other teams (Product, Operations, Engineering, Enterprise Architects) Requirements Excellent problem-solving abilities Great team working skills Well-rounded personality Enthusiasm for technology and finance Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.) Experience with integrated, multi-system, enterprise ecosystems Deep understanding of .NET/C# Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES5 & ES6+) Deep understanding of Node.js and TypeScript Deep understanding of the browser environment - DOM APIs, HTML/CSS, etc. Deep understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (nUnit/MSTest, Jest, Cypress, etc.) Proficient understanding of modern web frameworks Proficient understanding of Microservices architecture Proficient understanding of SQL Server T-SQL
