Position Overview
Allstate Security is seeking professional and customer service-oriented Rooftop Bar Security Officers to support nightlife operations at Mission Pacific in San Diego. Officers assigned to this position are expected to maintain a strong and professional presence while interacting with guests, staff, and management in a fast-paced rooftop bar environment.
This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle situations calmly and efficiently. Officers will assist with maintaining a safe environment, monitoring guest activity, checking IDs, supporting bar management, and completing detailed Daily Activity Reports and incident documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the rooftop bar
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with guests and staff
- Check IDs of guests entering the bar area
- Monitor guest behavior and report suspicious or disruptive activity
- Assist bar management with removing unwanted or disruptive individuals when requested
- Support rooftop bar closing procedures and secure the area at the end of operations
- Enforce contract standards, company policies, and site procedures
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports accurately and professionally
- Respond to incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an active BSIS Guard Card
- Must have flexible availability, including swing and overnight shifts
- Must be professional and well-groomed
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have or be willing to obtain an ABC Server Certification
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Multilingual is a plus
