Key duties include responding to non-emergent medical calls, conducting thorough patient assessments, and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of patients from company vehicles. The EMT will also be tasked with accurately collecting and documenting patient information while maintaining effective communication with dispatch personnel and healthcare facilities.<br><br>The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, a professional demeanor, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments. A strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities </strong> </div><ul> <li>Respond to nonemergency calls in a timely manner, with the ability to stay calm under pressure</li> <li>Collect vital information from patients, and safely convey that message to appropriate entities</li> <li>Document medical care and patient information accurately</li> <li>Maintain an inventory of medical supplies on your response vehicle, and resupply as needed</li> <li>Continue to attend training sessions to maintain certification and keep up to date with new medical knowledge</li> <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch, partners and healthcare professionals </li> </ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul> <li> EMT license or certification required, as per state and federal guidelines</li> <li>The ability to act quickly in emergency situations</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Valid drivers license with a clean driving record</li> <li>Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills</li> <li>Ability to lift and move patients and equipment safely </li> </ul> </div>
