Govern commercial underwriting and distribution activity for Broker Management team
-- Review and actively monitor policies underwritten across the Region to ensure compliance with Regional and Group Commercial Underwriting standards and guidelines
-- Responsible for commercial underwriting, portfolio management and sales training of Broker Managers
-- Ensure EH technical underwriting standards are upheld to ensure long-term profitability and quality of customer portfolio
Facilitate business development by providing Strategic Brokers with support and solutions within the framework of Commercial Underwriting standards
-- Manage, develop and maintain key broker and customer relationships
-- Segment broker’s statuses based upon Regional and Group metrics as well as the identification and seamless transition of select specialty brokers to Strategic Broker status.
-- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and target account plans for the Region
-- Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities within existing portfolio
Partner with cross-functional teams including DSF, commercial underwriting, XoL/Non-Can, WA, risk underwriting, compliance, market management, policy administration, claims and distribution to ensure customer needs are met.
-- High level of interaction with Risk Underwriting to maximize approvals for new and existing policyholders.
-- High level of interaction with the XoL/Non-Can team ensuring we offer the best solution to position EH to win
