Alliance Manager
Company: Marketeering
Location: Chandigarh / India
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 4–8 years
Function: Alliances & Partnerships
About Marketeering
Marketeering is The Technical Marketing Company for Marketplaces & AI.
We help technology companies build, grow and monetize their presence across cloud marketplaces and partner ecosystems — including AWS, Google Cloud, Salesforce, Microsoft and other major technology platforms.
Our work spans marketplace listings, partner programs, competencies, co-sell, private offers, GTM campaigns, AI visibility and lead generation.
We are growing our alliances function and are looking for an Alliance Manager who can build strong relationships across cloud and technology ecosystems and turn those relationships into measurable business outcomes.
The Role
As an Alliance Manager, you will own and grow relationships with cloud providers, technology partners, channel partners and strategic ecosystem stakeholders.
You will work closely with our leadership, delivery, marketing and sales teams to identify partnership opportunities, develop joint GTM strategies, drive co-sell motions and create revenue opportunities for Marketeering and its clients.
This is a relationship + revenue-oriented role, not a traditional account-management position.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Technology Alliances
- Build and manage relationships with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft and other technology partner ecosystems.
- Develop relationships with Partner Development Managers, Partner Managers, Alliance teams, ISV teams and other relevant stakeholders.
- Understand partner programs, competencies, specializations, marketplace programs and co-sell mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities for Marketeering and its clients to leverage partner programs for growth.
Partner GTM & Co-Sell
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with cloud and technology partners.
- Identify co-sell opportunities and facilitate introductions between partners, clients and sales teams.
- Support AWS ACE, Marketplace, Private Offers, WAPP, ISV Accelerate and similar ecosystem motions.
- Help clients progress from marketplace presence to meaningful pipeline and revenue.
- Coordinate joint campaigns, webinars, events, referrals and other partner-led activities.
Relationship Management
- Build a strong network across cloud providers, technology companies, distributors, GSIs, consulting firms and ISVs.
- Maintain regular communication with strategic partner contacts.
- Organize partner meetings, business reviews and joint planning sessions.
- Represent Marketeering professionally in partner and ecosystem conversations.
Business Development
- Identify new partnership opportunities that can generate revenue for Marketeering.
- Develop relationships with potential referral, implementation and technology partners.
- Create partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
- Work with the sales team to convert ecosystem relationships into qualified opportunities.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO, sales, SDR, marketing and program management teams.
- Translate partner relationships into actionable opportunities for the business.
- Maintain accurate partner/account information, opportunity tracking and activity reports.
- Provide regular updates on alliance pipeline, partner engagement and revenue opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8 years of experience in alliances, partnerships, channel sales, cloud partnerships, business development or ecosystem roles.
- Strong understanding of AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or other cloud ecosystems.
- Experience working with cloud partners, ISVs, consulting companies, system integrators or technology vendors.
- Existing relationships within the AWS/GCP/cloud partner ecosystem will be a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of partner-led sales, co-selling and GTM motions.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial understanding and a bias toward generating measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for partner meetings, events and conferences.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following will be strongly preferred:
- AWS Partner Network / AWS Marketplace
- AWS ACE / Co-Sell
- AWS Competencies / Service Delivery Programs
- AWS ISV Accelerate / WAPP / MSP ecosystem
- Google Cloud Partner Advantage
- Microsoft Partner ecosystem
- Cloud marketplaces
- SaaS / ISV partnerships

- Partner-led demand generation
Key Performance Indicators
Success in this role will be measured through:
- Number and quality of strategic partner relationships developed
- Partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
- Qualified opportunities generated through alliances
- New joint GTM initiatives launched
- Marketplace/co-sell opportunities created
- Partner referrals and introductions
- Revenue generated through the partner ecosystem
- Growth of Marketeering’s cloud and technology partner network
Why Join Marketeering?
You will work at the intersection of Cloud, AI, Marketplaces, Partnerships and B2B Growth.
This is an opportunity to build a significant ecosystem network rather than simply manage existing accounts. You will have direct exposure to cloud providers, technology companies, founders, CXOs and partner organizations and will play an important role in building Marketeering’s alliance-led growth engine.
If you know how cloud ecosystems work, enjoy building relationships, and can turn partnerships into pipeline and revenue, we’d love to hear from you.
