About the role

The Alliance Française de Delhi is looking for a Residence Manager for the Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi. The main responsibilities of the Residence Manager include: - Ensuring the smooth functioning of the Embassy's residences by managing the team of domestic staff, handling the procurement of supplies, and overseeing the maintenance of the properties. - Coordinating with the Embassy's administrative team to manage the schedules and requirements of the Residence. - Serving as the primary point of contact for the Ambassador and their family members, assisting with their day-to-day needs and requests. - Maintaining detailed records and accounts related to the Residence's operations and expenses. - Representing the Embassy in interactions with local service providers, vendors, and authorities as required. - Ensuring the security and safety of the Residence and its occupants. The ideal candidate should have: - At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a diplomatic or high-profile residential setting. - Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure. - Proficiency in English, with knowledge of other languages (French, German) being an advantage. - A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively. - A valid driver's license and the willingness to be on-call as needed.
