Weekend LPN Supervisor – Assisted Living

Schedule: Weekend Shift (Saturday & Sunday)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Weekend LPN Supervisor to join our Assisted Living team. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership during weekend shifts, ensuring high-quality resident care while supporting and supervising care staff.
The Weekend LPN Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive environment for residents and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and community policies.
Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing and care staff during weekend shifts.

Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with individualized service plans.

Monitor resident health status and report changes to the appropriate medical professionals and leadership.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

Respond to resident needs, emergencies, and family inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.

Ensure proper documentation of care, medication administration, and incident reports.

Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

Support staff by answering questions, assisting with problem-solving, and maintaining smooth operations during weekend shifts.

Communicate effectively with the Assisted Living Administrator and nursing leadership regarding resident or operational concerns.

Participate in resident assessments and care planning as needed.
Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living preferred.

Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to urgent situations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
Education & Certification
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.

Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
