Full-Time Television Coordinator / Life Enrichment Associate

Allegria Village, a vibrant senior living community in Dearborn, is seeking a creative, tech-savvy, and people-oriented professional to take on a dual role—half of the time managing our internal Community Television (CTV) station, and the other half helping lead our Life Enrichment (Activities) programming for Independent Living residents.

Key Responsibilities
Community Television (CTV) Coordination

Oversee the daily operations of the CTV station, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging broadcasts.

Supervise creative and technical activities, including programming and scheduling.

Recruit, train, and coordinate resident volunteers for studio operations and special events.

Serve as a camera operator, editor, producer, and host as needed.

Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and purchase of CTV equipment.

Explore and implement new approaches to CTV programming.

Foster the role of CTV as the hub of communication in our community.
Life Enrichment (Activities) Programming

Plan, coordinate, and lead group and individual activities to inspire resident engagement.

Develop creative programs such as entertainment, workshops, lectures, classes, and fitness activities.

Set up, prepare, and decorate spaces for events.

Build strong relationships with residents to tailor activities to their interests.

Collaborate with outside organizations to bring enriching experiences into the community.

Track attendance, create flyers, and contribute to community newsletters.

Assist in seasonal decorating and special campus-wide events.
Qualifications

Proven ability to thrive in a people-centered environment.

Excellent verbal, written, and on-camera communication skills.

Strong organizational, team-building, and leadership abilities.

Technical skills in video production, editing, and broadcasting preferred.

Creative, energetic, and able to work independently.

Minimum 2 years of experience working with seniors in an activities or life enrichment role preferred.

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Broadcasting, Performing Arts, or related field preferred.

Physical ability to lift at least 20 lbs and engage in frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
