Part-Time Gatehouse Security Attendant (2 Weekends/Month – Flexible Schedule)

About the Role:
Allegria Village, a senior living community in Dearborn, is hiring a Part-Time Gatehouse Security Attendant to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
This is a light part-time role scheduled two weekends per month (about 32 hours monthly) with both day and afternoon shifts available.

What You’ll Do:
- Greet and log all visitors, residents, and employees
- Monitor gatehouse activity and help direct traffic on campus
- Complete daily logs and routine reports
- Conduct regular property rounds (buildings and grounds)
- Patrol campus to support a safe environment
- Respond calmly to emergencies, including medical situations
- Complete incident reports when needed
- Support leadership with additional safety and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in security, safety, customer service, or related work
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Ability to stay calm and make good decisions in stressful situations
- Comfortable writing reports and using basic computer systems (Microsoft Office)
- Dependable, observant, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license required (for patrol vehicle use)
- First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
