Roles and Responsibilities
Repairs & Maintenance
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and civil repair work across rooms and common areas.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues before they become major problems.
- Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs and supervise work quality.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory.
- Ensure pumps, lights, ACs, geysers, locks, and fixtures remain in working condition.
Procurement, Inventory & Outdoor Tasks
- Purchase groceries, operational supplies, and maintenance materials as instructed.
- Visit markets/vendors for urgent items or replacements.
- Take damaged equipment/appliances to repair shops and collect them after servicing.
- Assist in stock movement between properties or storage locations.
- Maintain basic records/bills for items purchased outside.
Property Operations Support
- Open and close the property as per operational timing.
- Turn lights, signboards, water pumps, and electrical systems ON/OFF at scheduled times.
- Monitor common areas for cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning.
- Assist housekeeping or café team during high occupancy or rush hours when required.
Front Desk & Guest Support (Backup Role)
- Handle reception duties when the front desk team is unavailable.
- Welcome guests, guide them to rooms, and assist with basic check-in/check-out coordination.
- Respond to guest maintenance complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guest areas remain safe, presentable, and functional.
Safety & Security
- Conduct basic safety checks (locks, fire extinguishers, electrical safety).
- Report any suspicious activity or damage immediately to management.
- Ensure all unused areas are properly locked and secured.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain a daily log of maintenance tasks completed and pending.
- Inform management about required repairs, replacements, or recurring issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, delivery personnel, and local service providers.
Flexibility & Responsibility
- Be available for urgent operational needs or emergency repairs.
- Support different departments as an all-round operational team member.
