About the role
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Identifying which data is relevant, available, and most useful for developing data models;
Collecting, categorizing, and analyzing data for data model development;
Applying SQL and machine learning to develop fraud, waste, and abuse models;
Visualizing results and building dashboards for fraud investigators;
Utilizing data visualization to present results to investigators and management to make recommendations to stakeholders;
Testing algorithms and models for accuracy and efficiency;
Communicating and transferring knowledge and expertise to other team professionals within the organization and externally to stakeholders;
Working across teams and departments to operationalize data models and products, monitoring the results ,and then adjusting models appropriately;
Ability to explain predictive analytics, models, and the algorithms across teams and departments and also to non-technical audiences and stakeholders;
Defining technical requirements to address internal and external business problems; and
Performing other work related duties as assigned.
The requirements for this position are:
Master's degree in math, statistics, computer science or another related field with a computational focus
