Responsibilities Developing guidelines, standards, integration framework, and procedures for managing Redshift and RDS databases Designing, implement, and monitor databases, schemas, tables, and associated data objects. Focus on optimizing performance and efficiency Creating regular maintenance procedures to ensure the stability and reliability of the database clusters Leveraging AWS design principles, data access patterns. Relevant AWS services to enhance the efficiency and performance of the data applications Devising and executing on the DR strategy, Responsible for platform high availability. Requirements 5 years of Database administration experience in any RDBMS systems, Redshift is 5 years of experience working with AWS services EC2, S3, Lambda, Athena, AWS Glue. Lakeformation, SNS, Load Balancers (ALB, ELB, NLB), IAM, VPC, Subnets, Cloudwatch and Route53 Have experience writing Terraform to provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure Have experience writing scripts using Python, Ruby, YAML or Shell scripts to automate tasks Have Good understanding of Authentication/Authorization concepts like SSO, PING Have AWS Certified Solution Architect certification.
