Role Summary:
The Product Marketing Head will lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies. This role will drive growth and market share by converting product management into an efficient and effective strategic function, by setting bold ambition for our key product families in line with Ashirvad Strategy, recommending roadmaps for innovation and proposing optimal go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, customer-centricity, excellent project management and communication skills, and experience along with experience in product marketing and launch planning.
Roles and Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive and effective product marketing roadmap.
2. Identify capability and resource gaps in product marketing, and propose actions to fill those
3. (Re)define ways of working with other functions (like Innovation and Sales) for maximum effectiveness and efficiency
4. Ensure the PM team is well connected with key stakeholders in the value chain, able to understand current needs and anticipate trends
5. Map presence in key segments / sub-segments and define strategies to maximize our position where we want to play (product development, go-to-market strategies, pricing)
6. Set the 2030 ambition (sales, margin, share) for the key product families in line with Horizon 2 strategy and ambition
7. Recommend areas for meaningful innovation — by expanding our current portfolio and exploring opportunities not served today
8. Sign off the product portfolio roadmaps (2030) for all product families sold and segments served — prepared with Innovation, aligned with head of Innovation
9. Sign off New Product Development briefs prepared by the Product Management team and Innovation counterparts — aligned with head of Innovation
10. Track performance of portfolio from a sales, margin and market share perspective and prepare with the PM team corrective actions for the short and mid term
11. Capture feedback from win/ loss analyses to adjust and enhance our portfolio strategies
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including:
a. R&T/Innovation to ensure alignment on product roadmaps and launch plans.
b. Sales teams to ensure effective product positioning, placement and success.
c. Business Finance and Operations team to ensure profitability on product portfolio.
d. External partners and vendors to leverage expertise and resources.
