Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our data pipelines and architecture, ensuring efficient and reliable data flow across various systems. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data initiatives and ensure the consistency and accessibility of our data infrastructure. Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support various data processing and analytics needs.Develop, test, and deploy data integration processes, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide reliable and timely data solutions.Implement and manage data warehousing solutions to store and retrieve large volumes of data efficiently.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing best practices and industry standards.Document data processes, pipeline configurations, and data flow diagrams.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and continuously improve existing systems and processes. Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.Proficiency in programming languages such as PythonStrong experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data storage and processing.Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
