**Job Description: Senior Functional Consultant (Merchandising & Financial Planning)
** **Summary
** As a Senior Functional Consultant specializing in Merchandising and Financial Planning for o9 Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation and optimization of o9's integrated planning platform for retail and consumer goods clients. You will leverage your deep domain expertise and strong consulting skills to deliver end-to-end solutions that enable clients to make data-driven decisions, streamline processes, and achieve their business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities
**
* Client Engagement:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs and challenges.
* Lead client workshops and requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and objectives.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications for o9's platform configuration and customization.
* Provide expert guidance and recommendations on industry best practices and o9 solution capabilities.
* Solution Implementation:
* Configure and implement o9's merchandising and financial planning modules, including demand forecasting, assortment planning, inventory optimization, pricing, and promotion planning.
* Develop and execute test plans to ensure solution quality and alignment with client requirements.
* Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams, empowering them to effectively utilize the o9 platform.
* Post-Implementation Support:
* Monitor solution performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address client issues and optimize solution effectiveness.
* Stay abreast of o9 product updates and enhancements, recommending relevant upgrades to clients.
* Thought Leadership:
* Contribute to the development of o9's thought leadership and knowledge base.
* Share your expertise through presentations, webinars, and white papers.
* Participate in industry events and conferences to represent o9 and network with potential clients.
**Qualifications
**
* Domain Expertise:
* 5+ years of experience in merchandising, financial planning, or related fields within the retail or consumer goods industry.
* Deep understanding of retail planning processes, challenges, and best practices.
* Familiarity with o9 Solutions platform or similar integrated planning solutions is a plus.
* Consulting Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within tight deadlines.
* Experience in client-facing roles, with a focus on building relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
