As a Kofax Developer & Support Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and

maintaining document automation workflows using Kofax Total Agility (KTA) and Kofax Transformation

Modules (KTM). This role is integral to supporting our intelligent document automation initiatives, resolving

technical issues, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. A strong understanding of

document processing, database management, and support frameworks is essential. Exposure to

Automation Anywhere and .NET/C# is highly valued.

What are the primary responsibilities of the Role?

  • Design, develop, and maintain Kofax workflows using KTA and KTM platforms.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for existing Kofax-based solutions, ensuring performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within document capture and workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable

solutions.

  • Perform system health checks, monitor performance, and proactively address issues.
  • Maintain and query SQL databases for analysis, reporting, and workflow optimization.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including technical designs, SOPs, and support artifacts.
  • Participate in performance tuning and continuous improvement of existing workflows.
  • Support process automation initiatives and assist with Automation Anywhere where applicable.
  • Extend Kofax functionality using C#/.NET scripting and integrate with third-party systems via APIs.

Key Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience working with Kofax Total Agility (KTA) or Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM).
  • Solid hands-on experience in C#/.NET development and scripting for Kofax customization.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases, including query development and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of document capture, classification, and extraction techniques.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting production environments with complex integrations.
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Automation Anywhere or other RPA platforms.
  • Exposure to Kofax Capture, Kofax RPA, or other intelligent document processing tools.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, web service integrations.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and deployment models.
