Java Developer

Purpose: VertexOne is looking for Java Consultants who are motivated to be part of an excellent project that involves migrating monolithic applications to microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities Include:  Developing microservices architecture-based applications using Spring framework.  Excellent debugging skills  Software Development with best coding practices  Flexible to learn other technologies and work across teams.  Involvement in analysis, design, coding, SIT, UAT and support.  Should be a self-learner, able to work independently and able to manage tasks at hand.  Proper co-ordination with other team members for maintaining source code versioning.  Complete and provide status of work to Team Lead/Project Manager regularly.  Create and maintain proper documents related to development work.  Collaborate with other teams to create quicker issue resolution to achieve high customer satisfaction. Experience:  5 -9 years of of java coding experience in building core java applications, REST APIs.  Strong experience in Java programming, architecture, and design patterns is essential for this role.  Core Technical Stack  Core Java 1.8 or Later  Microservices Stack – Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Zuul, Sleuth, Integrations, Apache Camel, Hystrix, JPA, Spring batch etc.  Messaging Systems – Kafka  Databases – Oracle, MySQL, H2, MongoDB, IBM DB2  Rule Engines  Familiarity/Experience with container technologies, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes etc.  Caching Systems like Ehcache, Redis, Hazzlecast etc.  API Platforms, API Security, Reliability, Resilience Minimum Qualifications  Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent  Excellent verbal/written communication and inter-personnel skills
