About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions while collaborating with US and UK-based clients and teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on global projects, adapt to diverse business needs, and align with international standards. You will engage in cross-cultural teamwork, leveraging remote collaboration tools and occasionally adjusting working hours to overlap with US/UK time zones for meetings and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
Design, code, test, and deploy scalable applications using languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Maintain and enhance existing systems to meet client requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with US/UK teams (product managers, designers, QA engineers) to deliver solutions aligned with global standards.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning) accommodating time zone differences.
Code Quality & Compliance:
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Implement security protocols and comply with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) for US/UK clients.
Problem Solving:
Debug and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for international clients.
Documentation:
Maintain clear technical documentation for seamless knowledge transfer across global teams.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to US/UK markets.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years in software development, preferably with exposure to international projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in languages (Java/Python/JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Node.js, .NET).
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills in English for remote collaboration.
Ability to work independently and manage overlapping hours with US/UK time zones.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with US/UK clients or offshore teams.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker/Kubernetes.
Understanding of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
