About the role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Regional Account Manager, aHUS, Los Angeles N, CA will be responsible for the management of assigned Alexion accounts within the Los Angeles North region, with a focus on the treatment of atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS). This role will be focused on building strong strategic relationships with key healthcare providers, formulary decision makers, and other stakeholders in the treatment of aHUS patients. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Actively managing a portfolio of accounts within the Los Angeles North region, with a focus on the treatment of aHUS- Developing and executing account-specific strategies to drive increased utilization of Alexion's aHUS therapy- Building and maintaining strong strategic relationships with key healthcare providers, formulary decision makers, and other stakeholders in the treatment of aHUS patients- Effectively communicating clinical and economic value propositions to key stakeholders- Forecasting and reporting on account-level performance and progress towards assigned goals- Collaborating cross-functionally with Alexion's Medical, Market Access, and other support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience- Traveling within the assigned territory as needed to meet with customers and support Alexion's aHUS strategyQualifications:- Bachelor's degree required- Minimum of 3-5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience, with a track record of success- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong strategic relationships with healthcare providers, formulary decision makers, and other key stakeholders- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed
