Software Engineer / Software Developer (f/m/d) with a focus on artificial intelligence

In our Software Engineering team, we develop a comprehensive heterogeneous software stack for the operation of critical communication networks. We provide our users inside and outside ALDB with optimal customized software systems based on state-of-the-art technologies.

Your responsibility

• You develop container-based AI software systems in the front and back end, including the integration and deployment of AI models, and are actively involved in all steps, from architecture and feature design to coding, testing and go-live.
• You work on the implementation and optimization of AI/ML models and the associated software infrastructure that enables reliable and scalable use of these models in productive environments.
• You view and analyze large data sets from different sources and prepare them for modeling. This includes data cleansing, transformation and feature engineering to ensure high data quality.
• You create CI/CD pipelines specifically for AI projects to ensure smooth and automated model development and deployment
• You take responsibility for your developments and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop complex AI-driven solutions and integrate them into the existing infrastructure.
  
  

With your technical know-how and your passion for software development and artificial intelligence, you will make a significant contribution to our long-term goals and the optimization of our solutions.

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning or a comparable qualification - or you can convince us that there is another way.
• Sound experience as an AI developer, data scientist or software developer
• Expertise in Python (especially in the context of AI and ML), AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or Scikit-learn, data preparation, data analysis, AI, data visualization
• Expertise in as many of the following languages, technologies and processes as possible Backend development with Java or Python, web components, micro frontends, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher), databases such as OracleDB, PostgreSQL as well as REST, GraphQL, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Linux and shell scripting, agile working, DevSecOps
• Language skills: German and English language skills.
