Principal Product Designer

As a Principal Product Designer at Albertsons Companies, you will play a key role in crafting exceptional digital experiences for our customers and internal users. You will be responsible for leading the design of complex, high-impact features and systems that drive business results. Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, research, etc.) to deeply understand user needs and translate them into intuitive, innovative design solutions. - Leverage customer insights, data, and industry best practices to inform your design decisions and drive continuous improvement. - Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of talented designers, helping them grow and elevate the overall design practice. - Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our digital products. - Effectively communicate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and methodologies, and incorporate them into your work. Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. - Expertise in designing for complex, enterprise-level applications and systems. - Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. - Experience leading and mentoring a team of designers. - Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a track record of driving impactful design solutions. - Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
