About the role

Role Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end project activities across multiple Retail Banking digital initiatives. The role demands expertise in planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and delivery tracking. You'll serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and key business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Project Planning and Scoping You will work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines, and translate these into detailed project plans. Responsibilities include scoping, estimation, resource allocation, scheduling, and establishing clear milestones to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish. Solution Evaluation and Technical Engagement A critical aspect of your role will involve evaluating digital business solutions and organizing presentations and vendor meetings to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions. You will also engage with internal technical teams, including API integrations, infrastructure, and application support, to finalize end-to-end technical designs. Risk and Budget Management You will perform in-depth effort analysis with both internal and external teams to determine project budgets, staffing needs, and funding requirements. Proactive risk identification and mitigation planning will be essential to ensure project continuity and alignment with business goals. Execution and Monitoring As the Project Manager, you will conduct daily stand-up meetings, closely track execution progress, and ensure all tasks are completed according to plan. Your oversight will ensure projects meet technical and business expectations while adhering to compliance and security standards. Testing, Transition, and Reporting You will coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution quality. Managing the smooth transition of services to production, handling procurement, processing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial tracking will be essential. Regular status updates and risk notifications to stakeholders are part of your ongoing responsibilities.
