Senior Software Engineer - Platform Services

As a Senior Software Engineer - Platform Services, you will be part of the Platform Services team, which is responsible for building and operating mission-critical platform services to enable next-generation applications and infrastructure. You will be working on modernizing, scaling, and extending a portfolio of platform services that power the Akamai global network and cloud offerings. Main Responsibilities: - Architect, design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performing platform services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions. - Identify and implement best practices for software engineering, DevOps, and site reliability engineering. - Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve engineering efficiency and product quality. - Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team to help them grow and excel.
