Partner with the best Working directly with government organizations, you will play a critical, deeply-technical role in the successful integration and ongoing support of mission-critical websites and applications, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Collaborating with teams, you'll own technical implementation of products to optimize the experience and value customer's gain from their Akamai partnership. As a Technical Project Manager - Government Services, you will be responsible for: Partnering with customers to understand their technical and business needs, to ensure customer success Working closely with Akamai and customer teams to design the best solutions and implementation plans Collaborating with Professional Service team members to implement and execute best practice solutions for our customers Facilitating the testing and live deployment of solutions, ensuring smooth and timely integrations for customers Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving our methodology and quality of integrations Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have U.S. CITIZENSHIP due to legal requirements of our customer base Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree. Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry Have an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Demonstrate some understanding of network technologies, web development languages, methodologies, or architectures Show some experience delivering customer projects successfully Be a natural communicator with an ability to build trusting relationships and ensuring customer success
