Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Enterprise Applications team, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our suite of internal enterprise applications that power critical business operations across Akamai. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to architect, design, and implement solutions that improve the functionality, reliability, and performance of our mission-critical systems. In this role, you will: - Design and implement new features and functionality for our enterprise applications, ensuring a high quality, scalable, and maintainable codebase - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on the team - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and design robust, user-friendly solutions - Drive improvements to our engineering processes, tooling, and infrastructure to increase productivity and efficiency - Participate in an on-call rotation to provide rapid response and resolution for critical production issues
