Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep, light maintenance, and basic repairs of the building’s facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents.  This is a fulltime position working Sat thru Wed--Thursdays and Fridays off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner

  • Daily tasks such as pressure washing, cleaning windows, ensuring pool furniture and umbrellas are clean and available for residents' use

  • Exterior upkeep--ensure walkways, elevators, pool area are free and clear of debris

  • Maintain common areas (lobby, hallways, amenities, parking garage, etc.) in clean and operational condition

  • Respond to building emergencies 

  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, and minor adjustments

  • Assist with property inspections and vendor coordination for specialized repairs or services

  • Ensure tools, inventory, and maintenance supplies are well-stocked and properly stored

  • Follow all safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred

  • 1-2 years of maintenance or building operations experience (residential or commercial)

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred but not required

  • Ability to perform minor carpentry/painting tasks

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions

Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Weekend on call every 3 or 4 weeks
