About the role

The Bharti Airtel Foundation has established a Student Internship Program which allows students from partner government schools in different states of India to get practical pre-vocational experience in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Through this initiative, students undertake short-term internships with a range of entities, including banks, government offices, and schools. Those internships give students practical experience from different sectors so that they can learn essential skills and determine the career they wish to pursue. For example, students from Jharkhand did internships at the Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank, and students from Rajasthan did internships at LIC, HDFC, and AU Small Finance Bank. The purpose of this program is to enable students to explore and understand different professions in greater depth. By enabling the internships, the Bharti Airtel Foundation is helping students to take appropriate decisions regarding their career paths while aiding in the students' holistic personal and professional growth.
