How would you contribute?
This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As a Supply Chain Optimization Lead, you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The Supply Chain Optimization Lead is responsible for leading team members, supply chain process execution, and supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of systems and automation initiatives across the supply chain function. This role serves as a key liaison between operations, technology, and external partners to ensure efficient, scalable, and consistent supply chain processes
Essential Duties:
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members supporting supply chain and logistics operations.
- Lead training and adoption of standardized supply chain processes to ensure consistent execution across assigned areas.
- Oversee freight, transportation, and logistics activities, including transactional accuracy and invoice validation.
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of supply chain systems and automation tools in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
- Lead supply chain process improvement efforts, including workflow automation, data accuracy, and system utilization.
- Coordinate rollout of new processes, system enhancements, and automation initiatives, including change management and training.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to support operational continuity during system disruptions or staffing gaps.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for supply chain process questions, system-related issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Support supply chain reporting and KPI tracking, ensuring data integrity and timely communication.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Escalate food safety, compliance, or operational risks to leadership as appropriate.

- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field).
- Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or process improvement required.
- Demonstrated experience leading processes, projects, or small teams; prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting system implementations, automation efforts, or technology-enabled process improvements preferred.
