Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Airline Ticketing Specialist, based in Mumbai. The individual will manage customer requests for flight bookings by offering suitable options, confirming tickets, and processing changes or cancellations as needed. Responsibilities include managing reservations, providing fare and schedule information, adhering to airline policies, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure a seamless ticketing experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in airline ticketing systems and tools, including GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo
- Strong customer service and communication skills to handle inquiries and provide seamless travel solutions
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage bookings, changes, and cancellations effectively
- Problem-solving capabilities to address customer concerns and provide alternative travel arrangements when necessary
- Basic understanding of aviation and airline operations is a plus
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a customer-first approach
- Relevant experience in an airline or travel industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Travel and Tourism or a related field is advantageous
