Lead, Advanced Analytics, Payments Insights
The Payments Insights team at Airbnb is looking for a talented Lead of Advanced Analytics to drive strategic analytics initiatives and support decision-making across the Payments organization. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and solve complex business problems, define and execute on analytics roadmaps, and deliver actionable insights that drive improved business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of advanced analytics solutions to drive strategic payments initiatives
- Collaborate with business partners to identify high-impact analytics opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Deliver impactful, data-driven insights through dashboards, reports, models, and ad-hoc analyses
- Mentor and grow a team of talented analysts and data scientists
- Leverage machine learning, statistical modeling, and other advanced analytics techniques to drive innovation
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in analytics and data science
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field
- Proven track record of leading successful analytics initiatives and driving strategic impact
- Expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience mentoring and growing high-performing analytics teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional partners
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, computer science, engineering)
