Engineering Manager, HotelTonight

The HotelTonight team is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our growing global engineering organization. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and contributing to the overall technical direction of the HotelTonight product. You will work closely with the product and design teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements. We're looking for someone who is passionate about building great products, developing engineering talent, and fostering a strong engineering culture. Primary Responsibilities: - Effectively manage a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and coaching - Partner with product and design teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements - Contribute to the overall technical direction of the HotelTonight product - Foster a strong engineering culture and drive continuous improvement - Mentor and develop junior engineers on your team - Collaborate with other engineering teams and managers across Airbnb Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as an engineering manager, leading high-performing engineering teams - Demonstrated track record of building and shipping successful products - Strong technical skills and experience with systems design and architecture - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Experience with Agile development processes and best practices - Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
