Role Description
The Air Pricing/Sea Pricing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Dwarka, responsible for managing competitive and accurate pricing for international air and ocean freight services. In this role, the executive analyzes carrier rates, negotiates with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas partners, and prepares quotations for existing and potential customers within defined timelines. The position involves coordinating with internal sales and operations teams to understand customer requirements, optimize routing options, and ensure that pricing supports both service quality and profitability. The executive will maintain rate databases, monitor market trends, update stakeholders on changes in tariffs or surcharges, and support customer queries related to pricing and service options. Day-to-day work includes handling RFQs and tenders, supporting training on pricing processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of pricing strategies and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams, including clear written and verbal business communication.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to manage inquiries, provide timely quotations, and ensure a professional and solution-oriented experience for clients.
- Candidates should possess export and freight-related skills, including knowledge of international air and sea freight operations, Incoterms, basic customs and compliance practices, and global trade documentation.
- Candidates should possess training and collaboration skills to share pricing knowledge with team members, support onboarding on pricing tools, and contribute to internal process improvement.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain pricing, preferably with exposure to both air and ocean freight markets.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to compare rates, evaluate margins, and make data-driven pricing decisions.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, CRM or ERP systems) and comfort working with rate sheets and digital tools.
