Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Air Freight Executive role based in Chennai. The Air Freight Executive will oversee efficient coordination and execution of air freight operations. Responsibilities include managing shipment bookings, coordinating with airlines and clients, ensuring seamless documentation for exports and imports, and providing real-time updates on shipment progress. Additionally, the role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving operational issues, and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure service satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of air freight operations, export/import documentation, and shipment procedures
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client interaction skills
- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools
- Team coordination and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is preferred
- Work experience in logistics or freight forwarding is an advantage
